Supporters share their thoughts ahead of Trump rally at Schnecksville Fire Hall, as some speak out against his visit | Lehigh Valley Regional News

N. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – People lined up early for hours waiting to get inside Former President Donald Trump’s North Whitehall Township rally at the Schnecksville Fire Company Fairgrounds.

“This is a very important year for us as a Republican and a very big supporter of Trump,” said Thomas.

Thomas said she has been to several rallies before.

“I think he did a great job the first time. I really want to see him do a great job the second time,” said Thomas.

Nearby in line was Christina and Keith Worley, who came out from Reading.

“It was very important. It’s a matter of believe that the change is really necessary,” said Christina Worley.

Several merchandise stands were set up.

Justin Jeakle said he came from Michigan. He sold hats and shirts.

“It’s been a boom in sales, it’s picked up since the primary is starting to wrap up,” said Jeakle.

The veteran-led organization Common Defense is speaking out against former President Trump.

In a statement it said in part:

“Pennsylvania veterans are particularly concerned and ready to combat Trump’s extreme agenda and divisive rhetoric that he spread throughout this major swing state during his previous tenure in office.”

Billboards have also been set up in the area protesting Trump’s visit.
