Stormy Daniels Compares Trump Supporters to Suicide Bombers

Stormy Daniels, the woman at the center of former President Donald Trump’s impending hush money trial in New York, told the hosts of ABC’s The View that she is still getting threats from Trump supporters, but a few things have changed.

While promoting her Peacock documentary Stormy, Daniels told the hosts that while things had “gotten quiet” for a while, the threats heated back up after Trump was indicted on several criminal charges in March 2023, making him the first ex-president to ever be indicted: “[N]ow they’re more vicious because they’ve been encouraged and commended.”

She added:

But, but this time around, it’s not as many. But they’re worse, and they’re not hiding. They’re like, I’ve had people text me from their actual phone number and I’m just like, “Of course you’re a Trump supporter because you’re not even good at being bad.” … They’ve been rewarded. I’ve said in some interview or somewhere I believe that they’re more like suicide bombers this time around, where they honestly, truly believe that they are being patriotic and that I am, like, the devil.

Daniels, who received a payment of $130,000 in exchange for staying quiet about her one-time affair with Trump, said in Stormy that she took the money for two

reasons: “[T]rying to keep the story from coming out so that it would not hurt my husband and my daughter, and I wouldn’t lose my life, and that there would be a paper trail and money trail linking me to Donald Trump so that he could not have me killed.”
