Trump supporters accuse Taylor Swift of plotting to rig Super Bowl and American election

Donald Trump supporters have accused Taylor Swift of being part of a “deep-state” plot to rig the Super Bowl and the presidential election.

Allies, including failed Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, claim the pop megastar’s boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs will win a “fixed” final. They reckon this is so the pair can give Trump’s rival Joe Biden their backing during their celebrations in front of millions of TV viewers.

Tay Tay’s backing has been seen as a potentially key swing factor in November’s US presidential election. Ramaswamy blasted: “I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month?

But it leaves the odd spectacle of right-wing Trump fanatics backing a team from one of the most liberal places in America, as the Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers on February 11.

If they win, Kelce, 34, and his teammates will be invited to visit the White House.
